What's the difference between Explorer & Flex AccessExplorer accounts grant you free access to browse our pre cleared catalog, save your favorite songs and make song requests when you discover something you like. Explorer access is best suited for someone who doesn't need to license music in large volume or frequently. Flex Access is best suited for persons or companies who need to license music frequently or need large quantities or work on projects that require custom music. Flex access grants you access to download temp tracks, develop custom licenses and/ or subscriptions depending on whats needed.

Do I need a subscription to access the music library?No you do not, you only need to sign up for a free Explorer account to access the library.

Can I browse the music catalog on my phone?Yes, but the most effective way to view and listen will be via a computer. While you can browse and listen on a mobile device, Searching will be much more efficient from your computer.

Why isn't everything automated, self serve, or instantly licensable?Love Pulse is a boutique music library by design. We prioritize hands-on support and flexible licensing that’s tailored to real projects—not one-size-fits-all subscriptions. This model allows us to stay directly involved, provide creative support when needed, and build meaningful relationships with both clients and artists. While many platforms focus on speed and scale, we focus on quality and collaboration—making sure the right songs end up in the right projects, and that you always have a real person to help you get what you're looking for. We may introduce automation in the future, but only if it enhances the experience without compromising our values or the quality of support we’re known for.

What is included in the Explorer TierExplorer access lets you browse the full Love Pulse catalog, save your favorite songs, and send requests when you're interested in using a track. Just click the mail icon next to any song to tell us more about your project, and we’ll either send over a license or work with you to create one that fits. You can also filter and search the catalog by genre, type, mood, and more. Hover over the ℹ️ (info) icon on any track to view details like key, lyrical themes, and full metadata (writers, producer, artist, etc.).

Can I download tracks as an Explorer user?Not just yet—Explorer users can browse the full catalog, save favorites, and send song requests, but direct downloads aren’t available at this tier. If you’d like to use a track, just click the mail icon next to it and tell us about your project. We’ll respond with license options or work with you to create one that fits. If you prefer to have download access, you can request Flex Access by filling out this form.

How do song requests work in the Explorer tierEach song in the catalog has a mail icon ✉️ next to it. When you find something you love, click that icon to tell us about your project and how you’d like to use the track. We’ll review your request and follow up—either with a licensing option, a few quick questions, or a custom plan based on your needs. No need to know all the licensing details up front—just share what you can. We typically respond within 1–2 business days, and pricing depends on how the song will be used.

Can I test a track before locking in a license?Yes! If you’re on Flex Access, you can freely download songs to audition in your edits, cuts, or drafts. Once you’ve found a track that works, just reach out—we’ll send over a license or build one with you based on your usage.

Do I need a license for every song I download with Flex Access?Yes—every public use of a song requires a license. However, how licensing is handled depends on how your Flex Access is set up. If you’re working on a one-off project, we’ll create a license for each song you use. But if you need music regularly or across multiple projects, we can set up a blanket license, custom subscription, or an ongoing agreement that makes things easier for you. Flex Access is designed to stay flexible, so whether you need a single song or a scalable solution, we’ll tailor the licensing process to match. In short: Flex gives you full access to the catalog, and licenses are built around your projects.

Can I request custom music or vocals through Flex Access?Yes—custom music and vocals are available to Flex Access users with a clear brief or project. We’ve written songs for characters in TV shows, created era-specific tracks (like '90s-style placements), reimagined popular songs for musical-style productions, and partnered with agencies on commercial work and branded content. Whether you need full composition, topline writing, or a standout vocal on an existing track, we can support a wide range of creative needs. As long as there’s a defined concept, timeline, and budget, we’re open to collaborating. Custom work is scoped and priced based on the project. Are all tracks in the library pre-cleared?Yes—every track in the Love Pulse library is 100% pre-cleared for licensing. All songs are original, fully owned or controlled by our team, and ready to be licensed quickly. You won’t need to chase down rights holders, co-writers, or third-party publishers. Just let us know how you plan to use the song, and we’ll handle the rest.

Do you offer exclusive or bespoke tracks?Yes—we do offer exclusive or bespoke tracks when the project calls for it. This includes original compositions created specifically for your production, or exclusive licensing of an existing track in our catalog. Whether you need music tailored to a scene, a character, or a brand campaign, we’ll work with you to create or secure something unique. Will the tags be removed after I purchase the beat?Yes, all producer tags will be automatically removed once the beat has been purchased. You will receive the beat files via email once the transaction has been successfully completed.

I bought a beat but haven't received the files.If you haven't received your files within 2 hours, first double-check the following: Your spam folder (sometimes the files are hiding in there) Check your receipt; does it say the transaction has been "completed" or "successful?" If the transaction is still pending or has been marked as an e-check the files will not arrive until the payment is finished processing, If for some reason you still haven't received the files please send an email with your receipt to support@lovepulsemusic.com and we will send the files to you manually. Please allow at least 3 business days for us to get back to you.

Do you offer exclusive rights for the hooks in the beat store?We typically do not offer exclusive rights for hooks currently listed in the Love Pulse beat store but on very rare occasions we do. Shoot an email to support@lovepulsemusic.com for more details on this.

Can I use a beat/ hook for non-profit?You must purchase a basic license for non-profit use.

Will the vocalists on the hook appear in my music video?We currently don't offer music video appearances for hooks that have been licensed in the beat store. We do, however, love to see how the videos turn out. Be sure to tag or @lovepulsemusic when your video has been released.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?We do not offer refunds or exchanges on beats or hooks. Once we have sent you the files there is no way for us to take them back. Make sure you have selected all the correct tracks before you click the purchase button.

How do I apply coupon codes or bulk deals to my purchase?If you have received a coupon code, it can be applied during checkout. In order to activate a bulk deal, you must add tracks to the cart that have the same license. For example, if the bulk deal is to buy 2 get 1 free, add 3 tracks to the cart that is the same level license (all basic licenses or all unlimited) and the discount will be automatically applied.
